Welcome

Taking a step toward change of any kind takes courage. Sometimes we find ourselves in situations that are beyond what we think we can handle on our own. Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, hopeless, out of control, and just plain angry and irritated with yourself or with everything and everyone can be isolating and exhausting. You are not alone, and you are worth investing in your healing and personal growth so that you can thrive within your relationships with others and the relationship you have with yourself.

Areas of Specialty & Approach

“Trauma creates change you don’t choose. Healing is about creating change you do choose”. – Michelle Rosenthal

My areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, anger control problems, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), relationship effectiveness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation and life transitions. My approach is humanistic, goal oriented, and integrative.  In addition to my specialties, I help individuals restore themselves through a variance of challenges including depression, parenting challenges, intimacy and relationships, sexuality, and self-esteem. Our work together would start by building a supportive therapeutic relationship founded on trust and respect. Treatment will focus on identifying your individual goals and develop skills to manage challenges in a safe supportive and environment. We will work toward emphasizing your strengths, your pursuits for success, and enhance the connectedness with yourself and others.
